Congratulations to Emily Gillis (Class II) Tia Hashem (Class I) and Molly Griffiths, who have been accepted to the Goethe Institute Spring 2022 workshop with Teaching Artist Sergio Beltran Garcia. Emily, Tia, and Molly are part of a small group of students, who will research, conceptualize, and build a collaborative memorial in public space that honors the personal and collective histories that are important to us. Students will learn about inclusive and participatory approaches to monuments and memorialization, and think creatively about questions of history, representation, and accessibility.
