Come audition for Radium Girls on Tuesday and Wednesday September 15 and 16. Sign up for a specific time slot on the bulletin board across from 416 (the black box) and grab a monologue sheet.

Radium Girls is a show about factory workers painting glow in the dark watch hands with Radium and what happens when they start to get sick.

On Monday September 14 come to the Black Box (416) to learn all about how to get involved in BLS Theatre this year. Looking for actors, lighting, sound, makeup, stage management, set, and more.

Did you hear? The Odyssey, a blockbuster film, was released this summer! Did you see it? In Myth Tradition, we will discuss the film at some point, and I am curious to know how the BLS community reacted. You will be asked to share your email in case I want to know more. The survey should take around 3-5 minutes, and you can skip questions if you don’t know the character/situation or don’t remember. Anyone in the BLS community is welcome to respond! Join Boston’s high school ultimate frisbee team this fall! Players new and experienced will hone their skills, practice team strategies, apply the rules (the sport is self-officiated), make friends with teammates (many of whom are at BLS!), and have a blast. All studnets in Classes I-IV have accounts on Innerview. Students should enter their community service on Innerview. As a graduation requirement, all students must complete and enter at least 100 hours of community service. Students must follow these guidelines when entering hours on Innerview. Include: Title of Service, Supervisor Name and Contact Info. Photo of student volunteering. Detailed Description of Volunteer Work. Frequency of service if more than 50 hours (ex. twice a cycle from Sept. to May. Every Saturday for four hours from October to March) – computing hours: one period in a cycle for the entire school year equals 25 hrs., two periods 50 hrs – All donations to approved clubs or non-profits receive one hour of community service.
