Greetings BLS students and staff, We’ve seen many positive and creative displays and zoom backgrounds of African American achievements, culture, and history throughout the month of February, but only 3 people have submitted their screenshots to blackatbls@gmail.com for the BLS B.L.A.C.K. sponsored 2021 Black History Month virtual door decorating contest. It’s not too late to send in your picture. If you still want to participate, change your zoom background or add your art to the wall or door behind you when you’re on camera, take a screenshot and send it to blackatbls@gmail.com by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, February 24. We will display the screenshots on a Padlet and announce the winners at our BLS B.L.A.C.K. Annual Showcase this Friday, February 26 during the Friday Flex block.
The winners will have a nice gift mailed to them, courtesy of our BLSA. Thank you to all who have participated the entire month and to those that will participate this last week of Black History Month.
