First Generation Investors is a non-profit organization that teaches high school students the power of investing and provides program graduates with real money to invest. Students learn investing basics (stocks, bonds, diversification, interest) over the course of 8 sessions. Students create a final portfolio of $100, which they receive in the form of a real investment account after high school graduation. Meetings are Saturdays at 11 am at Northeastern (or Zoom). See this LINK for more information and to apply. The deadline is Sep 29. Send questions to NEU student Jordan Sarnie at jsarnie1999@gmail.com.
