No Assessment Day: Eid al-Fitr, Monday, May 2
In observance of Eid al-Fitr, Monday, May 2 is considered a “No Test Day” and classroom assessments should not be administered. Students in Class V who are absent for Eid will be able to make up the science MCAS upon their return and will be excused for the day with the submission of this form.
Also known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide and marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. To all who observe Eid al-Fitr, we say “Eid Mubarak!”
