On Friday, March 25 (Day 5), all BLS students and staff will participate in our school-wide MLK Celebration. Though postponed since January, our annual celebration serves as an opportunity to learn from one another, to strengthen bonds, and to build community. This year’s theme is “Lift as We Climb” and the assembly schedule runs as follows:

R1 and R2: Classes III and IV (do not file until 8:05)
R3 and R4: Classes V and VI
R6 and R7: Classes I and II

Students must first report to class for attendance before being escorted to the auditorium. Teachers should remain with their class in the assembly hall. The assemblies will conclude before the end of R2, R4, and R7 so that students will have enough time to check in with their teachers. Additionally, there are related workshops and special programs throughout the day for which individual teachers may have registered their classes.
