I am very pleased to announce that Phaidon Athanasopoulos, Class II, has been awarded first prize in an essay contest sponsored by the United States District Courts and the Federal Bar Association. Phaidon’s essay on the subject of the 14th Amendment and Birthright Citizenship will be featured on the websites of both organizations, and he has been invited to present his work at a special Bill of Rights event next week. The judges for the competition praised Phaidon’s focus on the topic and his outstanding writing ability. Congratulations to Phaidon for this proud representation of our BLS community!
