All interested students from all grades are encouraged to try out for Third Public Declamation, which will take place Thursday, February 10th in the auditorium after school between 2:30-4:30 pm. Students may declaim a passage or abridged version of an essay, poem, speech, book, or play. The duration of the text may not exceed 2 minutes and 30 seconds. If interested, complete the Google form located here or on bls.org, and provide your contact information, along with the exact text you plan to perform. The submission form is due Tuesday, February 1st. All seniors who want to participate must try out. Only juniors who participated in Prize Declamation for the 2020-2021 year are exempt from tryouts. – The assembly is scheduled for Thursday, February 17th.
