Steven Yee ’07 is offering three grants for students who have a strong interest in filmmaking and who have at least 3 previous works.

“I remember buying my first camera when I was in the film studies program at my college. I saved up money from on campus jobs and bought a Canon Rebel T2i and spent the entire summer shooting content and improving my skills behind the camera. This unlocked a whole new world of possibilities and gave me a jump start to my filmmaking career.

Film equipment is expensive, and I want to give an opportunity to the younger generation to experience the joy of getting their first camera and exploring their creativity.”
