The New England German Slam Poetry Contest organized by the Goethe Institute Boston (co-sponsored by German and Scandinavian Studies at UMass Amherst, the Goethe Institute Boston, and the AATG MA Chapter) received 31 entries from students of German at 10 different institutions across New England.

The Final took place over Zoom hosted by Bas Böttcher, a famous German Slam Poet. At the event Benjamin Fortuin (Class III) won 3. price and the duo Albert Yang and Thomas Poimenidis (Class II) won 2.price.

Meaning that 2 out of 3 prizes in the high school category went to BLS!
