On April 17th BLS YouthCAN is hosting our 15th Annual Summit, a free event for middle and high school students from all across Massachusetts! Join us for exciting entertainment and workshops, with special performances from the BLS Gospel Choir, American Ink, and Izzy Goodrich (I). This year’s Keynote Speaker, Michelle Wu, Boston City Councilor and candidate for Mayor, will be talking about her commitment to environmental justice through her plan for a city-level Green New Deal. Workshoppers include Sunrise Boston, Our Climate, MA Climate Education Organization, BLS World Wildlife, New England Aquarium, BLS Culture Coalition, and more. Come meet other climate activists and find out how you can join the fight for sustainability. All attendees will be put into a free raffle, so make sure to stay for the end for our unique prizes.
