The applications for the Center for STEM Education’s 2026 Young Scholars’ Program (YSP) have now opened. The Young Scholars’ Program at Northeastern University offers future scientists and engineers a unique opportunity for a hands-on research experience while still in high school. This free program is open to Massachusetts residents who [will] have completed their junior year of high school (i.e. current juniors as of Jan 2026) and is a 6-week summer research opportunity taking place on Northeastern University’s Boston Campus, running M-Th, 8:30-4:30, June 22 – July 30, 2026. Applications are now open and close March 2nd.
