Greetings students, Thursday, October 2, is National Custodian Appreciation Day. This day is observed annually to recognize the hard work of our custodians who keep our classrooms, hallways, dining hall, and public spaces clean and safe. It’s an opportunity to acknowledge their tireless efforts, often performed behind the scenes, in maintaining pristine and orderly environments for everyone. We have an amazing team of custodians, who do essential work that often goes unnoticed. This day provides an opportunity for the BLS community to show gratitude for their dedication.
Here are 2 ways you could show appreciation:
1. Say “Thank You”: A simple verbal acknowledgment can go a long way in making our custodians feel valued.
2. Create cards and notes: Students can write thank-you cards to show their appreciation for the custodians’ efforts. Visit the table outside the dining hall for supplies or make your own.
