STEM CONNECT Academy is designed to accelerate Black and Latino 7th and 8th graders in STEM by pairing them with high-school mentors (10th-12th) who will do more than just aid with homework. They will give advice for high-school, job/internship opportunities they have done before, and overall create a space for mentees to ask questions about their future high-school experience/seek advice.
