MIT Society of Women Engineers (SWE) (Bateman) All Classes

Saturday, November 9th, 2024 from 10 AM – 2 PM @ Mezzanine Lounge (3rd Floor of the Stratton Student Center: 105 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139)

The MIT Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is excited to host a special event on MIT’s campus for 5th-10th grade students from the Boston area. Join us for a day filled with hands-on experiments, engaging workshops, and a build challenge. MIT student volunteers will lead the activities, which are designed to be both interactive and fun.

Some of the exciting activities we have planned for this event include: coding games, making homemade lava lamps, extracting strawberry DNA, designing catapults, creating chromatography butterflies, participating in an egg drop contest, and more!

If you have any questions or need more information, feel free to contact: (nwtan@mit.edu) or my fellow co-chair, Katherine (kzhou627@mit.edu).
