In recognition of Rosh Hashanah which begins at sunset on Wednesday, October 2, and continues through sunset on Friday, October 4, there will be no tests or assessments administered in class on Thursday. Students who also observe the second day of Rosh Hashanah on Friday will be excused with full makeup privileges. Rosh Hashanah is considered among the holiest days of the year by those of the Jewish faith and marks the start of the Jewish New Year. For their students to be excused, families should have submitted the absence request form.
