Why don’t oceans ever take breaks?
Because they always have too many current events to deal with.
It’s time to ride the tides for a change. This Thursday 6/4 at 2:30 PM in the dining hall, the BLS Recycling Committee, Composting, YouthCAN, and Galleries for Change will be hosting an environmental summit on marine biology and the cost of polluting the ocean, involving club workshops and an environmental chemist and microbiologist guest speaker Karen Murray. In addition, BLS Recycling Committee will be doing a bake sale at the door to help fundraise for this event! The first 5 people to complete the workshops will be granted a free item from the bake sale, and attending the event will grant you 2 community service hours. Refreshments will be provided.
