Please join me in congratulating Laetitia Jean on receiving the MaFla (Massachusetts Foreign Language) Past President Essay Contest Award. This award includes a grant of $500.00. I am so proud of Laetitia for receiving this award, but more so for her determination and hard work in studying German for 4 years at BLS while simultaneously maintaining her study of French. I could not imagine a more deserving student for this award.
