Earthwatch’s Girls in Science Program 2026 (Bateman) Class III, II, I

Earthwatch’s Girls in Science Program 2026 Application is officially open! Girls in Science is a fully-funded student fellowship program, providing young female and non-binary identifying students with the opportunity to expand their interest in science and technology and to build confidence through hands-on environmental research. Fellows will work alongside researchers in Acadia National Park to collect data on forests, intertidal organisms, and climate refugia on the expedition Climate Change: Sea to Trees at Acadia National Park.

Who: Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors (ages 15-18) who identify as female or nonbinary from Greater
New England area high schools
When: August 9-15, 2026, for the Acadia team. Students can apply now through February 28, 2026. **
