Show Choir
Audition: Thursday, June 5, 2:30 PM, Choir Room
Eligible: Current grades 7-11, must be enrolled in a curricular ensemble (choir, orchestra, band) Description: Rehearsals are for two hours on Thursdays from 2:30 – 4:30. Performances at the BLS Holiday Concert, Music Night, and two to three away festivals, usually on Saturdays. Auditionees should be prepared to learn a song and some choreography with other auditionees and current members. Bring water and comfortable clothes and shoes to dance in.
Gospel Choir
Audition: Tuesday, June 10, in choir room 414
Eligible: Current grades 7–11
Description: The BLS Gospel Choir strives to bring passion, fire, conviction, and contagious energy to every performance! Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 2:30–4:30. Performances occur at the BLS Holiday Concert, MLK Day of Celebration, Music Night, the MICCA festival, and other opportunities as they arise. Wolftones
Audition: Tuesday, June 10 and Wednesday, June 11 (choose a day), Room 421 or 423
Eligible: Current grades 8-11 tenors/basses, must be enrolled in a curricular ensemble (choir, orchestra, band)
Description: Rehearsals are for two hours on Wednesdays from 2:30 – 4:30. Performances at the BLS Holiday Concert and Music Night as well as various a cappella festivals and as opportunities arise.
