Free Summer Arts Opportunity (Gels) Class VI

Boston Symphony Orchestra Days in the Arts (DARTS) at BPS DARTS at BPS is a free program that brings students together from all across the city to learn, build confidence, and develop a shared appreciation and respect for individual interests, talents, and differences. Students will spend four days in Boston at the O’Bryant High School Music Building and will take a day trip to Tanglewood in Lenox, MA on the Wednesday of the week to explore the grounds and get a sneak peek at concert rehearsals from the world-famous Tanglewood Summer Concert Series. This opportunity is open to 50 students entering grades 6-8 in the Boston Public Schools. Students can only select one of the two weeks to participate in. Mr. Gels will be teaching the theatre portion of these weeks but there is also visual art and music.

Hours: Mon/Tues/Thur/Fri 9 am-3 pm; Wed 8 am-6 pm
