To celebrate Black History Month,
BLS B.L.A.C.K. will be hosting a Poetry Cafe on Monday, February 13, 2023, from 2:30- 4:00 pm in the Seevak Room (room 309)! A Poetry Cafe celebrates the healing that comes through the written word as it is spoken or sung. We hope the Poetry Cafe is a place full of inspiration, courage, reflection, enthusiasm, and vulnerability for those performing and for those attending. This year, we will be collaborating with Mr. Blackett and the Jazz Band!
All are welcome to participate in a spoken word performance at the cafe. It is not necessary to memorize your piece. Those who would like to perform a spoken word should submit their piece and their information through the following link.
