The BLS English Department is pleased to announce the 2022 Prize Reading competition: Prize Reading is an annual event that awards students who have excellent skills in reading aloud. No memorization or preparation is necessary. Simply complete a registration form, available outside room 519, then show up on the appointed day, choose a text, and read it aloud as clearly and expressively as you can when your name is called. The competition this year will be held on Wednesday, May 4 at 2:30 p.m. in rooms to be announced. We hope you’ll join us! Winners at each level are awarded the Gardner Medal, a distinct honor. Deadline for registration: Monday, May 1 at 2:30 pm.
