Have you heard the buzz? The English Department is happy to announce the winners of our annual school-level Scripps Spelling Bee for students in Classes V and VI. Our first prize winner, Josephine LoRusso, Class V, will represent BLS at the Citywide Bee on March 19. Two Class VI students tied for second place: Elizabeth Baldes and Mia Hosokawa. Congratulations to all participants, who made this such an enjoyable and competitive event, and to the amazing team of parents who make it all possible!
