The Gender-Sexuality Alliance is holding a school-wide art competition on the theme “What Does Pride Mean to You?” Submissions may be through any medium–photo, google doc/written piece, video, etc. All kinds of art are acceptable as well, whether dance, poem, photo, drawing, painting, song, or something else entirely. Email your submission to bostonlatinschool.gsa@gmail.com by June 14th at 8 am. Video submissions must be under 2 minutes; all must be school appropriate and should include not highly triggering topics. Pieces will be judged for originality/creativity, effort, emotional impact, and technical skill. Anonymous submissions are accepted but will not be in the running for the prize. Winners will receive a $50 Visa gift card; select visual pieces will also be featured on Ms. Skerritt’s Instagram (with the creator’s permission).
