The MIT BoSTEM Scholars Academy is a full-time summer program in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) for high school students (Class III and II) who are underrepresented in those fields. Since 2017, we have provided Greater Boston area high school students, mostly underrepresented minorities, the opportunity to gain experience in STEM in the heart of MIT’s campus. We aim to instill an internal paradigm of success by providing teens access to academic enrichment, pre-college resources, and a supportive community.
