ART CONTEST
Theme: “Lift Every Voice”

Black and white or color drawing, painting, sketch, charcoal, digital media, or other appropriate media capturing the theme of this year’s MLK celebration.

Due Monday, January 5, 2020 at 2:30 pm

Selected artwork will be featured in the MLK virtual program and event, with a monetary prize of $100 to the first place winner.

ESSAY CONTEST
Topic: What voice(s) need to be lifted in our local, national, or global community? How can we work to ensure they are heard and valued?

Format: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double spaced, 300-400 words (name and homeroom at top)
Essays should respond to the prompt, but there is flexibility to approach these questions in myriad ways. Strong essays educate, inspire, and capture your authentic voice.
