Judicial Youth Corps
- Seven-week summer internship sponsored by the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts
- Students work in a Boston courthouse Monday through Thursday
- Attend full-day educational activities on Fridays
- Meet regularly with judges, lawyers, and other court personnel
- Participate in an end-of-summer mock trial · Eligibility: Grades 10-12 with priority for grades 11 and 12
- Seeking a cohort of 22 Boston students
District Attorney’s Criminal Justice Fellowship
- Seven-week summer internship sponsored by Suffolk County District Attorney
- Students work with and are mentored by an assistant DA in a Boston Courthouse
- Attend educational sessions to actively learn about the full criminal process
- Meet regularly with judges, attorneys, court personnel, and key members of the District Attorney’s office
- Eligibility: Grades 11 and 12
- Seeking a cohort of twelve Boston students
Student Requirements
● Must be either a Boston Public School student or a resident of Boston
● Students in grades 10, 11, and 12 are eligible to apply
● Priority for students in grades 11 and 12
● Must be in good academic standing and have a good attendance record
● Students must have a social security number to work in the court system
● Must be available to work during the program dates for the Summer session
