POL – BLS Poetry Out Loud Competition (Thompson) Class IV, III, II, I

Have a love of poetry? Then the English Department is pleased to announce that “Poetry Out Loud” is designed just for you!

What is Poetry Out Loud (POL) you ask? POL is a competition in which participants will recite a selection of poems for a panel of judges. The winner at BLS will then move on to the regional – and perhaps national – levels.

BLS is hosting its own Poetry Out Loud Competition on Wednesday, January 22nd in the Seevak Room but you must register by Wednesday, January 15th. The winners of the BLS Poetry Out Loud Contest will advance to the regional semi-finals, and the Massachusetts winner will move on to the national competition in the spring.

Once you have registered using the link provided, you will be given additional information. Should you have any follow-up questions, please email Ms. Thompson at athompson4@bostonpublicschools.org.
