BLS SOC is hosting a book drive from November 4th to December 20th. There will be boxes placed in the library and in front of the main office where students can donate their books, and later these books will be donated to Raising a Reader, a non-profit organization that encourages reading for everyone. Students should also take a picture of themselves next to the boxes for Innerview.

Donations made will be worth one hour of community service (the quantity of donations is not accounted for), and the genre of books should be appropriate for children from the ages of newborn to six. Picture books and books in other languages are allowed, but books with topics on religion/holidays, commercial books (Disney, Nickelodeon, other movies/TV characters), and books with rips/writing should be avoided.

On the inside of the book(s), students MUST securely attach a sticky note to the cover with their first name, last name, and email. Around late December, we will email students with all the information for Innerview.
