Prioritizing Tasks and Managing Distractions

I wanted to share some tips on prioritizing tasks and managing distractions to help you stay on track.

*Focus on Important Tasks: Prioritize schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and personal goals.

*Break Tasks Into Steps: Divide larger tasks into smaller, manageable pieces.

*Manage Distractions: Limit distractions like social media or TV by setting time limits.

You can use the Eisenhower Matrix to organize tasks:

1) Important & Urgent: Homework due soon or test prep.

2) Important but Not Urgent: Studying for next week’s test or skill development.

3) Urgent but Not Important: Non-essential messages.

4) Not Important & Not Urgent: TV or social media.

For example, if an essay is due tomorrow and a project next week, focus on the essay first. Non-essential tasks can wait until the important ones are done.
