My name is Xochitl Tai-Dawson and for my capstone, I am creating a curriculum that will add more diversity to the MA/BPS US history curriculum for grades K-6. I am trying to emphasize that Black history is US history and that in order to be involved citizens, we all have to know the true history of our country.
